First Thursday Happy Hour is excited to host The 6th Annual Kentucky Derby Twin Cities Party Saturday, May 6th, 2023 at The Westin Edina Galleria.
This is the best party in Minneapolis or St. Paul, celebrating the pageantry with elegant hats, dresses, seersucker, and Mint Juleps… honoring the traditions established at the venerable Churchill Downs and the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby!
BEST DRESSED CONTEST
Over $500 in prizes to be given out for Our “Best Dressed” contest is judged by two of Minneapolis’s best fashion experts, Sara Rogers and Richard Moody, and friends. Awards are given to the Best Dressed Lady, Best Dressed Gentleman, Best Dressed Couple, Best Hat, and Best Tie competitions.

Doors to the party open at 2:00pm. Look for a photographer to memorialize your best derby attire. Once inside, grab a classy mint julep from the bar to start the wild afternoon of party excellence, live music, roses, cigars, and Mint juleps made with Woodford Reserve the official bourbon of the 149th Kentucky Derby.
